Quality is of paramount importance to us here at Dawnlough. We incorporate quality assurance and quality control in all operations and processes in our facility.
In cases where we have integrated processes such as product assemblies, we can implement process procedures, training and documented records which align strictly with our customers’ regulatory requirements. We utilise Advanced Product Quality Planning tools such as Failure Mode Affect Analysis (FMEA), Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) to ensure we produce reliable and repeatable components, assemblies and manufacturing processes. We perform validation of manufacturing processes and qualification of equipment where required.
Our Metrology Department plays a key role in our rigorous Quality Control of manufactured components and assemblies. We routinely practice multiple-stage inspection checks both in-process and post-process so we can reduce waste, reduce cost and maintain high standards that exceed our clients’ expectations. We have a robust continual improvement process which we utilise to improve efficiency that will ultimately benefit our business and customers. Our very active Lean Program drives 6S rollout and empowers our employees to undertake Green Belt projects. We practice pro-active and preventative problem management using tools such as A3 Problem Solving.
