Job Role
- Operating state-of-the-art CNC machines.
- Set-up machines including raw material and tooling, in accordance with part requirements.
- Machining of company products to conform to drawing tolerances.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings as well as specifications.
- Inspect parts with the relevant equipment to ensure all components are manufactured to drawing and are within specified tolerances/quality standards
- Work with very small and precise products.
- Continually assess tool condition and maintain as necessary.
- Diagnose and resolve various production issues as they arise.
- Identify tool wear or damage and set-up new tools.
- Work within a team to produce machined projects.
- Self-assess work in accordance with company standards.
Requirements for the Role
- Practical hands-on mechanical experience
- CNC experiences advantageous
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Hard working individual with a willingness to learn
- Good problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively within a team
