Job Summary:
The CMM Programmer is responsible for programming and operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to measure the physical characteristics of manufactured parts. The CMM Programmer will work closely with the Quality Control team to ensure that all parts meet the required specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and write programs for CMM machines using specialized software.
- Operate and maintain CMM machines to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Analyse measurement data and prepare reports for the Quality Control team.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify areas for process improvement.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience programming and operating CMM machines.
- Proficient in CAD software.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
- Experience with Zeiss Calypso software.
- Knowledge of GD&T principles.
